A Special Project In Photography;
Students and Parents Working Together!
My parent and I can each create photographs
that show the full range of the Gray Scale!
I studied this skill by using the
Art of Ansel Adams and Annie Liebovitz;
I can shared that knowledge with my parents.
Due: Monday, October 10
One Photo by student and One Photo from Parent
The student is responsible for writing one paragraph about their photo and the story it tells.
Then the student must interview the Parent and find out and write one paragraph
of what story the parents’ photo is telling, as well.
Rubric Goals -- Checklist. I can earn an “A” grade

I can earn an “A” grade if I:
_______1. Meet Deadline of October 10. (10 points)
_______2. Take Original Photograph that week by both parent and student.
(10 points) 2 Photos - each 5 points.
_______3. Must print out ONLY BLACK & WHITE photos for full credit.
Any student without a home printer can use
the Media Center computer and printer. (10 points)
_______4. Write the Student Paragraph and Parent Interview paragraph with
proper grammar and spelling (spell check). (10 Points)
_______5. Paragraphs must be typed. (10 points)
_______6. A paragraph must have at least 5 full sentences to gain full credit.
ONE paragraph for each:
1). Student and (10 points)
2). Parent Interview BUT both are written by the student. (10 points)
_______7. Must be a beautiful and creative shot that has meaning to
the photographers! (10 points)
_______8. Must have good craftsmanship – NO folds, clean paper (10 points)
_______9. Mounted carefully on Paper for display – ASK TEACHER (10 points)
Total Points (100) _________________________ Points = grade
